Frankfurt, 27 September 2018 – Frankfurter Buchmesse, the global platform for the future of the content business, will be going through some changes in the coming years:
In 2019, Messe Frankfurt, the host of Frankfurter Buchmesse, will convert Hall 6.3 into a technical control centre, inaccessible to customers. The Literary Agents & Scouts Centre (LitAg), Frankfurt’s centre for international rights and licences trading, will therefore find a new home at “Festhalle”, a historic hall, located close to the “City” entrance.
In 2020, the international exhibitors from Hall 5 will move to Hall 4, as Hall 5 will be taken down and rebuilt until 2023. Hall 1 will be added in 2020 with a striking new glass front facing the city. The new hall will become part of an attractive area that includes special interest formats geared towards the general public on the weekend. This will also encompass the Agora, the Forum, and Hall 3.
